Goldfish Tail Fin Regrowth Bone

Your eyes

Today I saw despair in your eyes,
those pretty brown eyes.

Your hands are clenched, your eyes narrowed

into a thin line,
your mouth curved down. Today I thought

weep in front of me, That I would count
your problems.

Your eyes they told me that something happened
The gloss opaque, pupils dilated
crimson-tinged nose, and
your eyes again. I whispered phrases

incoherent
ear told me: "Today I weep

cry tomorrow too?
